The Love Machine is a rock band from Ottawa. I started listening to them in 2006. To me, their lyrics are prolific and their guitar riffs are enchanting. Justin, my darling coworker and I, went out to Club Saw last night for their reunion show. I purchased two CDs from little kids manning the merch booth for $10 a pop.
I saw two of my old friends there. Beth, my girlfriend from grade 7, who worked on Fallen Star Designs with me, was there! We even spoke and it was wonderful.
Honestly, we didn't stay for the show because Justin and I are old now and we were exhausted. There were a lot of people there, it was loud and there was no room to sit. We promptly left at 10:30 pm after we couldn't handle it anymore. At least we tried. I mean, last time I went to a show, I fell asleep on a chair and got kicked out of the venue, so it wasn't that bad. I just can't go to shows anymore. They go on too late and I'm too old for that.
