Ode to pa

I get my love of hobbies from my dad. My dad turned 70 years old last year. I call him "pa".

He built this n-scale diorama and I took pictures of my favourite parts.

In the first pic it's the ghetto, with the clotheslines and people having a BBQ in the front yard. You can spot an apple tree. On the other side of the apple tree there's a girl on a ladder picking an apple.

The second picture is of a billboard advertising cigarettes. My dad said he spent all day making that billboard.

Last pic is of the bar, the pawn shop and an alleyway between the two. You can see awnings and light-posts, cars and tiny people.

I love inspecting the entire thing. There's so many details you catch every time you look at it. He has so many more dioramas on the go, ones with lights and pink Hello Kitty cars.
