Wolves are my favourite animal. I read these books when I was a kid called Julie of the Wolves. That was the first of the series. There's 3 books in the series: Julie of the Wolves, Julie, and Julie's Wolf Pack. The main character gets lost in the Arctic and befriends wolves.

I can relate to a lone wolf. Wolves run fast, eat fast and howl to communicate. Their sense of smell is 100 times greater than a human's. I also fondly recall a paper mâché wolf habitat my mother and I made for a school project in grade 5. It had little paper mâché wolves and everything.
